The Rudgear Meadows pool will open May 1st! Please be sure to review the pool rules as its designed with everyone's safety and comfort in mind, as well as to minimize any potential liability for homeowners. Remember, pool use is open to all residents of Rudgear Meadows and their guests, but it's essential to abide by these rules and any posted poolside regulations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Hours of Pool Operation are Seasonal and Published Annually; for 2025, the pool hours are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Swimming pool rules exist to ensure the health and safety of every pool visitor. Some rules may seem restrictive, but please keep in mind that the following list of Rules and Regulations are intended to help you enjoy your swim time in a safe and pleasant environment. Permission to use the pool will be granted upon the condition that all swimming pool rules and regulations will be followed. Permission may be revoked at any time for anyone who fails to comply with staff direction or pool rules and regulations.
Your cooperation in following these safety regulations will help ensure your safe enjoyment of these facilities.
During this period only those who can safely swim on their own are permitted to use the pool. Inexperienced swimmers should be supervised at all times by someone who is capable of protecting them should the need arise.
According to California Code of Regulations § 3120B.4, all children below 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. The wading pool is for the use of non-swimmers only younger than age 5. Children under the age of five (5) must be actively accompanied or supervised in the water by an adult (18 years of age or older), who will remain within arm’s reach at all times.

Guests
· A resident must accompany all visitors while at the pool.
· Each household may have five (5) visitors at the pool at a time. If you would like to have more guests, you may apply to the Board of Directors to host a pool party. Please note, a nominal fee may be applied for hosted parties.
Hygiene
· All persons are requested for hygiene reasons to take a shower and use the restroom facilities before entering the swimming pool.
· All incontinent persons are prohibited from using the pool.
· No persons having any open wounds, infections, flu, cold, coughs, sores, diarrhea, or communicable disease, etc. is permitted to use the Pool.
· No smoking is allowed.
· No chewing gum is permitted in the pool or pool area at any time.
· Food and beverages should be confined to the picnic table areas.
· All members are expected to act responsibly regarding the use of alcohol, drugs legal or otherwise in the pool area. Persons under the influence of any such substance may not use the pool and will be removed from the premises.
· No pets Allowed. Dogs or other animals are prohibited and may not be left unattended or leashed outside the pool premises.
· Residents and Guests are responsible for placing refuse in the appropriate trash or recycling receptacles.
· No spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose, or discharging bodily wastes in the pool is allowed and is strictly prohibited.
Safety
· The pool gate(s) must remain closed and locked at all times. At no time should the pool gate be propped open.
· For your safety, and the safety of others, no glass containers of any kind are permitted in the pool area.
· No Running, or wheeled toys including Roller blading, Bicycling, Skateboarding or other unsafe behavior are allowed.
· Diving is permitted only under the supervision of an adult, coach, or lifeguard.
· No Jumping is permitted at any time when other swimmers are in the same area.
· No crossing or playing on the swimming pool dividers in swim lanes is allowed.
· Strollers must remain on the deck with brakes locked at least 4 feet from water’s edge.
Lap Swimming
· Lap swimming is available at all times that the pool is open to the membership in the designated lane 1.
· HOA Management cannot be held liable for loss of any valuables or other personal property left at the swimming pool premises.
· All swimmers should be fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in aquatic activities including swimming. Serious accidents may occur during participation in swimming activities and participants can suffer serious injury or death. No medical insurance is provided by the Rudgear Meadows home owners association for any injuries that may occur to participants during participation in aquatic activities. All participants participate in aquatic activities at their own risk.
